About brushing teeth
After the device is fitted, we will instruct you on how to brush your teeth using the device. We will also instruct you on how to brush hard-to-reach areas during each adjustment, and thoroughly prevent cavities while correcting the alignment of your teeth.
Things to be careful about when eating
If you have braces, you should avoid sticky sweets such as Hi-Chew and caramel, as well as hard meats and rice crackers, as they can cause the braces to fall out.
By cutting food into small pieces and chewing it with your back teeth, you can prevent problems and make treatment more comfortable.

Emergency information

The device came off
Even if the appliance comes off, it is still connected to the wire, so there is no problem with leaving it on. If too much pressure is being applied or it is touching your teeth, it may be too early to put it back on or you may need to think about where to put it, so please call us first and we will consult with you about whether you should come in or leave it on until your next appointment.
However, if one device comes off, the adjacent device is likely to come off as well, so you need to be careful when eating.
The wire came out
When your teeth move, the wire may stick out from the back. First, cover it with the wax we provide and see how it goes. If you are unable to use wax to fix the problem, please come in at a time that suits you.

The device hurts
When you first put on the appliance or when you move around and the condition of your mouth changes, the appliance itself may touch your mouth and cause a strange sensation, just like when the wire comes out. First, please cover it with the wax we provide, and if you are unable to do so, please contact us.
My tooth hurts, it may be a cavity
Our clinic focuses on preventing tooth decay, but if you do develop a cavity or if you notice cavities between teeth that have been moved, please consult us during your appointment.
We check your teeth every time you have an adjustment, and depending on your symptoms we will refer you to an appropriate general dental clinic.
